About Dr. Blessing

My Story

Dr, Blessing Akpofure, MD prefers to be called Dr. Blessing, and the name is spot on for the people she has helped! She received her MD degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine after earning a B.Sc in biology and a minor in child psychology from George Washington University in Washington DC. Upon graduating from medical school, she spent a year at The Martin Luther King/Charles Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles as an intern in trauma/ general surgery.  She completed residency training in anesthesiology at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida.

She is also licensed to practice medicine in the states of California, Florida and New York. As a result of her fascination with people, she received certification in Ericksonian Hypnosis and Neuro-Linguistic Programming. She is certified in Neuro-Linguistic Programming and Neurological Repatterning and in presentation and platform skills (known to sensible people as public speaking). She also works as a performance consultant and a results-oriented life coach. She is also collaborating with veterans to create the non-profit organization Rejuvet™, geared at housing vets and creating self-sustenance. As a mother, she believes in a life of self-sufficiency and is learning how to profitably trade futures, forex, and options. She is also teaching her daughter, who is fascinated by how you make money on the Internet, how to trade.

She is the author of the recently released book ” Parenting with a twist, Becoming a better person automatically makes you a better parent”.

As a student of life and quantum physics, she believes that everything in the universe is made of energy and when atomic molecules collide, an energetic effect is created, hence the significance of the atomic molecule on the logo.

Dr. Blessing aims to promote wellness. She is quicker to act as a Health Coach than be your typical MD with a prescription pad.  She strives to enhance health  & lifespan by using proper nutrition & supplementation as a base.
